

The exterior lights have either LEDs or normal bulbs.

Running lights (Some Models)/Position lights (Type A)
Position lights (Some Models) (Type A)
Fog lights (Some Models)
Brake lights/Tail lights (Type A)
Reverse lights
High-mount brake light
Side direction indicator lights
Number plate lights
The LED bulb cannot be replaced as a single unit because it is an integrated unit.
The LED bulb has to be replaced with the unit. If a replacement is necessary, consult an expert repairer (we recommend an Authorised Mazda Repairer).
Bulb type
Front direction indicator lights, Position lights (Type B)
Make sure the ignition is switched off, and the headlight switch is off.
Lift the bonnet.
Refer to Bonnet (Search).
Turn the socket and bulb assembly anticlockwise and remove it.
Disconnect the bulb from the socket.
Front direction indicator lights

Position lights

Install the new bulb in the reverse order of the removal procedure.
Rear direction indicator lights, Brake lights/Tail lights (Type B)
Make sure the ignition is switched off, and the direction indicator switch is off.
Wrap a small flathead screwdriver with a soft cloth to prevent damage to the cover, and then remove the cover with the flathead screwdriver.

Turn the screws anticlockwise and remove them.

Pull the unit rearward to remove it.

Turn the socket and bulb assembly anticlockwise and remove it.
Disconnect the bulb from the socket.
Rear direction indicator lights

Brake lights/Tail lights

Install the new bulb in the reverse order of the removal procedure.
