  2. Because the SKYACTIV-X 2.0 is a high compression ratio engine, the piston and plugs are close to each other. If the replacement is not done using the correct procedure or a non-genuine plug is used, the engine could be damaged. Consult an expert repairer, we recommend an Authorised Mazda Repairer for details.

 


When cleaning the iridium plugs, do not use a wire brush. The fine particulate coating on the iridium alloy and platinum tips could be damaged.
